The 904 P-Tier wheel loader made its debut at World of Asphalt 2022 in Nashville. Deere plans to roll out this naming convention to most of its L series loaders later this year.
Coming soon, the 904 P-Tier offers a powerful two-pass loading solution, ideal for handling processed aggregate stockpiles and efficiently filling trucks or rail cars throughout the day.
Standout features include obstacle intelligence with the Advanced Vision System - an industry-first for loaders. Dual digital cameras mounted on the rearview mirror platform combine to show a single enhanced view on a dedicated in-cab monitor. The 904 P-Tier also includes an improved rear object detection system that overlays the projected vehicle path, enhancing operator awareness.
This model is built for heavy-duty performance with 7.5- and 7.1-m³ (9.8 and 9.3 cu. yd.) material-handling buckets featuring integrated spill guards and curved side cutters. Inside the cab, operators benefit from seat-mounted hydraulic controls, improving ease and accuracy. The machine also features heavy-duty axles with cooling filtration, large tilt cylinders, robust hydraulic pressure, and a fuel-efficient engine with a lockup torque converter and dedicated steering pump - allowing operators to move more with less fuel.
