John Deere Construction & Forestry has partnered with schools across the country to offer a two-year associate's degree program. The John Deere Construction & Forestry Tech Program is available at several locations including:

• Linn Benton Community College | Lebanon, OR
• North Dakota State College of Science | Wahpeton, ND
• Dakota County Technical College | Rosemount, MN
• Texas State Technical College | Waco, TX
• Wake Technical Community College | Raleigh, NC
• SUNY Cobleskill | Cobleskill, NY
• OSU Okmulgee | Okmulgee, OK

The program is intense and focused. You'll learn about John Deere diesel engines, powertrains, hydraulics, and high-tech electrical systems. You'll be trained in computer diagnostics using proprietary John Deere software, and you'll develop customer communication skills. Training takes place on John Deere equipment with access to John Deere University’s web-based courses.

You’ll also work at CL Boyd as part of the curriculum—applying your knowledge in real-time on engines, powertrains, electronics, hydraulics, and diagnostics.

CL Boyd will sponsor the right candidate to attend the John Deere Construction & Forestry Equipment Technician program. You must meet all program requirements and be officially accepted. Once accepted and on-campus coursework is completed, you'll finish your training at CL Boyd. Upon successful completion of the program, CL Boyd will offer tuition reimbursement.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills

• Can work well on a team

• Can multitask and stay focused until a job is complete
