Parts Sales Advisor in Oklahoma City
Our parts team keeps John Deere construction customers running. A Parts Sales Advisor helps customers find the right parts, prepares and follows up on quotes, keeps customers updated on their orders and builds relationships that bring them back.

What a Parts Sales Advisor Does
- Helps customers identify, source and order the correct parts
- Uses John Deere Parts Advisor and other online resources to find parts and give accurate information
- Prepares quotes and follows up on open sales opportunities
- Keeps customers updated on order status and delivery
- Promotes aftermarket programs and special offers
- Works assigned customer accounts to earn new and repeat business
- Follows up after a purchase to make sure the customer is satisfied
- Works with our parts, service, inventory, warehouse and technician teams
The role works toward monthly sales and customer-service goals, with commission potential when those goals are met or exceeded. It is a full-time day-shift position at our Oklahoma City store, 4220 W Reno Avenue, with paid training and room to advance.
What We Look For
- Formal parts training or relevant industry experience
- An understanding of mechanical and technical terms
- Strong computer, data-entry and organizational skills
- Strong customer-service skills and the ability to manage several requests at once
- A high school diploma or equivalent; college is a plus
- Parts experience is a plus, and heavy-equipment parts experience is preferred
- A valid driver's license, plus a pre-employment physical and drug screen
