What Is the John Deere Military SkillBridge Program?
The John Deere Military Skill Bridge Program allows eligible active-duty service members to gain valuable civilian work experience during the final months of military service.
Participants receive:
- Hands-on training with experienced technicians
- Exposure to John Deere construction equipment
- Opportunities to earn factory certifications
- A smoother transition into civilian employment

No. If you have experience maintaining and repairing diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, or heavy equipment, your skills can translate well. We'll provide the John Deere-specific training and support to help you succeed.
Can I Participate Before Leaving Active Duty?
Yes. Eligible service members may qualify to participate in the John Deere Military SkillBridge Program during the final 180 days of active-duty service, working alongside our technicians while preparing for a career at CL Boyd.
