Prospective employees will go thru our employment process, which includes in-person interviews, profile testing, background checks, drug screening and a physical examination.

- Overtime: Hourly employees are paid overtime for hours worked over 8 hours per week day and all hours worked on Saturdays. Additionally, double time is paid for hours worked on Sunday and holidays.
- Medical insurance: CL Boyd pays 100% of the employee's premium. Optional dependent coverage is available.
- Dental insurance: CL Boyd pays 100% of the employee's premium. Optional dependent coverage is available.
- Prescriptions: A comprehensive list of drugs is covered and co-pays vary by drug type. Additionally, a mail Rx program is available for certain maintenance drugs at reduced co-pays.
- Life insurance: CL Boyd provides life insurance at no cost to the employee. Additional coverage can be purchased by the employee.
- Supplemental insurance: Optional Accident and Disability insurance are available for a premium, paid by the employee.
- Vacation: We offer a generous vacation plan based on years of continuous employment.
- Holidays: CL Boyd recognizes (8) days as paid holidays - New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas and one personal floating holiday for the employee's birthday.
- Sick leave: Hours are banked for sick leave
- 401K: Employees are eligible to participate after 1 year of continuous employment. Boyd currently offers a match for employee contributions.
- Uniforms: CL Boyd pays 100% of uniform costs.
- Education: CL Boyd pays for education and certifications completed thru John Deere University.
